Parking: Parking at the spot, on Alte Burgstraße in Heimbach-Vlatten. Follow Alte Burgstraße out of town, turn left at the next possibility. Follow the road 750 m to the cross (approx. 750m).

Museum Hürtgenwald 1944

In memory of the tragic events that happend in Hürtgenwald during the second world war, the museum "Hürtgenwald 1944 and in peace" was built on Pfarrer-Dickmann-Straße in Vossenack.

This Eifel view on the "Simonsley" (415 metres above sea level) offers you an impressive panorama above the Rursee in a south-east to south-west direction, with the "Kermeter", a core area of the Eifel National Park, catching your eye.

Eifel-Blick "Hirschley"

The Hirschley is situated at an altitude of 512 metres above sea level. From here you have an impressive panoramic view of the Rursee and the steep slopes of the north shore.
