The "CASA Tony M." is housed in the Alte Posthalterei Thurn & Taxis, a magnificent baroque building dating from 1752, which was extensively restored between 2014 and 2016. In the seven-axis building with three full floors above a much older cellar and a three-story attic in the magnificent mansard roof, details such as the doors with original carvings are remarkable. CASA Tony M. shows temporary exhibitions with works by the internationally renowned painter, cartoonist, filmmaker and graphic artist Tony Munzlinger (born 1934 in Wittlich), who is originally from Wittlich. An excerpt from the collection is shown, which can only describe Munzlinger's artistic spectrum. Focal points are landscape painting, dances of the dead, Greek mythology, Namibia, cartoons and works for children as well as posters in the staircase of the museum for his exhibitions. A room "per bimbi" has been explicitly created for children, where they can not only marvel at wonderfully caricatured representations from fairy tales and well-known children's books, but where they can also become artistically active themselves. A "television room" also encourages them to watch the SWR productions "On the Road with Ulysses" and "Adventurers of Heracles" directly in the museum.
