EifelRadSchleife 13 "Zülpicher Riviera"
Zülpich
On the cycle tour through picturesque little villages in the Eifel, past forests, fields and meadows, Sinzenich Castle, which is now privately owned, suddenly appears on the side of the road. The sight of the manor house behind a moat, surrounded by willow trees, immediately transports you back to the Middle Ages. Just a few kilometers further on, you will be surprised by another magnificent castle: Langendorf Castle, which can also only be visited from the outside as it is also privately owned. The crowning glory of the tour is Zülpich Castle. The imposing building rises out of the flat farmland and is located in the middle of the town center of Zülpich, surrounded by various gastronomic offerings and the Roman thermal baths. The Landesburg Zülpich and the town of Zülpich form an ideal end point for this fascinating tour.
