On this GPS tour without any notable climbs, we cycle through original Eifel villages with regionally typical renovated farmhouses and cross fields and meadows. 

Between the idyllic village of Birtlingen and Messerich, we are accompanied by the babbling of the Nims River before we rejoin the former railroad line - the Nimsradweg. In Messerich, a stop at the lovingly furnished farm café is worthwhile. Here you can enjoy homemade cakes and a great selection of drinks. 

In the village Oberstedem the way leads past the farm store Arens, where you can buy many home-made sausage specialties, Eifel brandies and much more.

In the further course we drive over farm roads in the direction of Scharfbillig. Shortly before we turn left towards the airfield. The way leads us only a short distance over the service and leisure center airfield Bitburg. We follow the signs in the direction of the city center.
