Rules for nature-friendly climbing:
- Changes to the rock surface or crevices and caves, in particular by attaching climbing fixtures of any kind, are to be refrained from!
- Only the marked access and descent routes may be used to access the rocks / routes! Leaving the designated paths, roads and crags is prohibited (e.g. shortcuts)!
- The climbing routes end at the deflection hooks! Climbing on the rock heads is prohibited! (An exception is made for training and rescue exercises of the mountain rescue service at Effelsley).
- Climbing is only permitted from 01.04 - 31.10 in the rock face areas with bat winter quarters. The respective rock sections are marked or signposted.
- Setting up new routes is prohibited!
- No magnesia may be used!
- It is forbidden to disturb animals wantonly or to damage or remove plants/parts!
- Cars may only be parked in approved areas!
- Camping and bivouacking is not permitted!
- This climbing ticket must be presented to Nideggen officials on request!
- Climbing is at your own risk!
