The Maria Hilf Hospital in Daun is a general hospital with the departments of internal medicine (cardiology and gastroenterology), geriatrics and psychosomatics, general, accident and visceral surgery, vascular surgery, anaesthesia and intensive care, orthopaedics and urology. Specialist practices for urology and radiology, as well as an MVZ for orthopaedics, neurology and oncology expand the range of treatments.
With 236 beds and around 600 employees, Maria Hilf Hospital is well networked in the region and works closely with other medical and social institutions as well as self-help groups. Every year, around 10,000 patients are treated as inpatients and around 25,000 as outpatients. With this, the Maria Hilf Hospital makes an important contribution to medical care in the Eifel region.

Bad Bertricher Venenpfad® The Bad Bertricher Venenpfad®, the first in Europe, was created by a joint initiative of GesundLand Vulkaneifel GmbH, the Mosel-Eifel-Klinik - specialist clinic for venous diseases and the German Vein Academy (DVA). On an approx. 1000m long route, you will practice using the exercises at 8 information stations and you will train the leg muscles, stimulate the blood circulation in the legs and thus prevent varicose veins.
