The local parish of Langenfeld is located in the immediate vicinity of the village of Arft in the northern part of the Vordereifel association municipality.

The original parish church is today's cemetery church. The oldest parts of the tower date from around 1400. The present parish church of St. Quirinus (Langenfeld) was built between 1894 and 1898. It is also called the "Eifel Cathedral" because of its size.

The late Gothic pilgrimage chapel of St. Jost is located in the district of Sankt Jost in the Nitztal valley. Pilgrimages take place annually on the last two weekends in September and the first weekend in October. On Whit Monday, a traditional baroque concert also takes place in the distinctive ambience of the pilgrimage chapel.

The Bendisberg Mine, also located in the St. Jost district, offers fantastic insights into the interior of the earth and is an experience at any time of year. Temperatures of around 8 °C and high humidity of around 80 % prevail in the galleries all year round. Ore used to be mined here on a total of five levels. After several years of construction, the narrow galleries, explosives and reel chambers, shafts and ore passages were made accessible to the public and can now be visited - as a unique experience for young and old - on three different levels during different guided tours. A ride in a lorry, a "dwarf search" or a visit to the puzzle gallery await all younger guests. All tours are accompanied by a mine guide and include an audio system and a light. Beforehand, visitors can marvel at rocks, minerals and historical tools and working methods, including a model of a mine, in the exhibition area.

Since 1999, the Kamalashila Institute for Buddhist Studies has also been located in Langenfeld.
