Teufelsstein Bruch
Bruch
According to popular legend, the devil dropped the stone here during transport for the construction of the pilgrimage church, when he realized that the church builder in Klausen had deceived him. Instead of the announced house of pleasure, whose construction the devil thought he was supporting, he had helped build the church! Full of rage the infernal master threw the stone on the earth that it roared. The imprint of the devil's spar can still be seen today in the form of the German Z. The Devil's Stone is most likely an erected menhir that once served as a boundary marker.
