The Tourist Information in Gillenfeld advises guests of the holiday region "Around the Pulvermaar" on places of interest and excursion destinations.

The local community of Gillenfeld, in the middle of the Volcanic Eifel, is located south of the district town of Daun. It is an extremely beautiful holiday landscape with a settlement culture dating back thousands of years, which is expressed by the manifold features in the rugged Eifel mountains, romantic river valleys and Eifel maars in the midst of an almost untouched natural landscape. From the volcanic Eifel to the Moselle, the holiday region can be explored on foot or by bike along the Maare-Moselle cycle path. Cosy inns invite you to rest along the way.

The Tourist Information is integrated into the community centre, centrally located in the village centre. At the Tourist Information you can get hiking maps and brochures as well as tips for your holiday. Free parking is available at the Tourist Information.
