The medieval town lies exactly between Koblenz and Trier. The Crusader's Castle, a ruined castle, invites adventurers to come and explore. Above all, the nature in Ulmen is unique. Walking and lingering at the Maar is a holiday for the senses. Many paths lead around the water protection area. The Jungferweiher nature reserve is also an Eldorado for hikers. However, bathing is not allowed in either lake. In Ulmen, nature can be experienced. On the bee trail, for example, you can learn a lot about the little insects. Ulmen has recently added two new attractions: the Ulmener Maar-Stollen and the Digital Explorer Tour.

The voluntary tourist information centre of the Ulmen Tourist Office, located in the immediate vicinity of the Ulmen Maar, provides a wealth of additional information about Ulmen and the region.
