Zülpich
Schwerfen is located on the northern edge of the Eifel, at the transition from the Zülpicher Börde to the Eifel. From here it's all uphill. The A1/A61 highway to Cologne, Bonn, Aachen and the Eifel is nearby.
From the house you can walk to the field in 5 minutes, for example to go for a walk with your dog. There you will find, among other elevations, the Rabenberg, which offers you a great view over the rolling hills of the Voreifel to the open-air museum in Kommern, a view as far as the Siebengebirge and as far as the Sophienhöhe at the Hambacher Loch. The Matthias Column on Aggrippastrasse/Römerstrasse is also within walking distance. In the Börde, directly near Zülpich, is the water sports lake with the LandesGartenSchauGelände.
