The hiking trail takes you through the idyllic village of Nitztal, starting from the parking lot in Schützenstraße. From there, the trail leads into the adjacent forest. The ascent to the Steilbüchel awaits you here, with a vantage point from where you have a wonderful view over the idyllic Nitztal valley. Once you have reached the top, a relaxed descent back to the village center awaits you. Here you will also reach the Bürresheim viewpoint, from where you can see the castle nearby. Once you reach the village of Nitztal, you return to the starting point of the tour.
