Römerkanal-Wanderweg Etappe 7
Brühl
Slowly but surely, the Roman Canal Trail approaches Cologne. At first it is still deciduous and coniferous forests that are hiked through on stage 7, then the lakes, which invite you to take a refreshing break, and further on the buildings, which are cultural and historical treasures. In between, there are always unexpectedly beautiful views. Understandably, it soon gets busier and busier. However, it is again very remarkable how many green "islands" run through the city districts.
The Roman Canal Hiking Trail runs for 116 kilometers in seven stages from Nettersheim to Cologne, following the old Roman water pipeline. The overview of the Roman Canal Hiking Trail shows you all the stages.
