Due to the expansion of the wheelchair hiking trail, restrictions must be expected in the area of the wheelchair hiking trail and therefore also the Römerweg from mid-April to mid-June.

The approx. 4 km long circular trail leads along the "Alte Römerstraße" and runs through the fields below the Mayen district of Kürrenberg.

With several rest stops and great views, this tour is a lovely little hike. One highlight is the Moselblick viewpoint, from where you have a beautiful, sweeping view.

There are barbecue facilities at the Brotknochenhütte, which makes for a nice and relaxing barbecue afternoon.
