The Short Quality Walking Trails (“Traumpfädchen”) follow in the footsteps of their role model: they are premium circular hiking routes through the beautiful natural landscape of the Eifel. They are perfectly signposted and are designed as day-long tours.
The Short Quality Walking Trails are selected walking trails - also at a premium quality standard. They are short tours of between 3 and 7 kilometres - shorter than the Quality Walking Trails (“Traumpfade”). The inclines are less steep, and there is a greater focus on places to stop for a rest, or to buy a meal or drink.
The Short Quality Walking Trails are perfect for short walks on the day of arrival or departure - or simply as a more restful day between longer hikes. For families with children, they offer a shorter alternative to the Quality Walking Trails.
