The guided adventure hike leads from the historic station building to the Helenenquelle spring with delicious Gerolstein mineral water in the new spa park on the Kyll. From there, the route follows natural paths up to the Munterley Plateau on the Gerolstein dolomite cliffs. The panoramic view from there opens up the Kyll valley and the fountain town. In the Buchenloch cave, the legendary resting place of the cave bear and ice-age mammoth hunter comes to life. The origin of the Sarresdorf lava flow is explained to everyone at the Papenkaule crater.
