What visitors can expect at the 2nd beer festival with summer night dancing in Bad Bertrich's spa garden

Beer lovers take note: On 12 and 13 July, the popular Bad Bertrich Beer Festival with Summer Night Dance will take place in the spa garden of the KulturRaum Bad Bertrich. Admission is free on both days. After last year's great success, the festival is sticking to its tried-and-tested concept while introducing some exciting new features. "Last year's great success showed us that the combination of live music, beer tasting and dance evening is very popular. What's new this year is that we're extending the festival to two days," explains Thomas Räthlein, Head of Events at KulturRaum Bad Bertrich. At the centre of the festival are the large and small breweries, which offer their beers for tasting on site. The mixture of small, regional breweries and beers from large breweries is what makes the festival so appealing. Eight breweries will present their brewing skills and creations:

Bertricum: This small brewery brews its beer creations using the unique Glauber salt water from the Bad Bertrich mountain spring. Brewer Myrec Kaufmann conjures up elegant and contemporary beers with an individual character.

Blanq: Blanq is the new Eifel beer brand from Blankenheim, the source of the Ahr. Every Blanq contains passionate brewing skills, the best regional ingredients and a splash of fresh Ahr spring water.

Pulvermaar beer: Brewed and bottled by the Kirner private brewery, Pulvermaar beer was developed to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the municipality of Gillenfeld. The unfiltered and finely hopped Pulvermaar-Landbier is sure to impress any connoisseur - brewed using regional ingredients and original Pulvermaar water.

Vulkanbräu: Using state-of-the-art brewing technology, the Vulkanbrauerei brewery in Mendig brews organic beer from organic, regional ingredients. The product range extends from Pils to Pale Ale, natural Radler and non-alcoholic varieties.

Bitburger: Whether it's a perfect hop-accentuated Pilsner, a tangy-fresh Radler or a quaffable Maibock - Bitburger is of course a must at a beer festival in the Eifel.

Früh: The popular Kölsch beer from Cologne is brewed gently using the slow brewing method according to the original recipe from 1904. It smells fresh and flowery, the effervescence refreshes the tongue. Also on board at the beer festival: the Früh Kölsch Radler.

Lutzerather Biermanufaktur: Biermanufaktur Lutzerath is a small craft brewery, the result of the beer whims of five long-time friends. It currently offers a bottom-fermented country beer, brewed by hand on an open gas flame.

Pleiner Biermanufaktur: Water extracted from the depths of the Eifel, selected malts and hops are the guarantee for a special kind of beer. The range now includes ten varieties.

Arndt Moll complements the range of drinks with various cocktail creations from Hoschis Tijuana as well as sparkling wine and wine.

In addition to the beer range, guests can also look forward to culinary delights. On Saturdays, the "Backesjung" will be preparing classic tarte flambée pizza, pizza and panuozzo in his mobile wood-fired oven. In addition to coffee and freshly baked waffles, the local association will provide other delicacies, as will the Pleiner Biermanufaktur and the Hotel Alte Mühle. On Friday, the beer festival opens with an after-work party from 5 pm. The musical supporting programme will be provided by Kolonne Sorgenlos from 8 pm under the motto "Beer plays the music". The band will be performing classics such as "Westerland" and "Im Wagen vor mir". On Saturday, the Musikverein Kennfus will kick things off at 3 pm, before the Lala Schlager Party opens the dance floor for the summer night dance at 7 pm.

The event ends at 11 pm on both days.
