On Saturday, 28 June 2025, Wittlich city centre will once again become a book mile. The traditional book flea market will take place from 10 am to 4 pm. The stalls will be set up in Burgstraße, Marktplatz and Platz an der Lieser. The aim is to browse, haggle and buy books at favourable prices. Whether children's and young adult books, novels for the heart or exciting thrillers. Here you can discover rare, beautiful, long-lost, old regional books and of course, as always, lots of book bargains. The selection and range of literature on offer is huge, and the stimulating conversations and recommendations between the book lovers looking for books and the vendors offering them for sale create a very special atmosphere on this day. The book flea market is a joint event organised by the Stadtmarketing association, the Altstadt Buchhandlung bookshop and the Wittlich public library. There are still a few spaces available.

Registrations for the book flea market with a fixed space reservation are only possible at the Altstadt Buchhandlung in Wittlich, Burgstraße 36 (phone: 06571/96023; e-mail: info@altstadt-buchhandlung.biz). (Stand fee 10€ per 3 running metres. Reservation becomes binding upon payment of the stand fee.
