The 27th edition of Christmas Moments is on the program and the ensemble around bandleader & producer Thomas Schwab is really looking forward to the new tour after the exhilarating success of the 2023 tour! Thousands of visitors flock to theaters and halls every year to let the 11-piece ensemble get them in the mood for Christmas. This stage show is full of wintry magic and unforgettable moments and is part of the pre-Christmas tradition in many places - like baking cookies or visiting the Christmas market.
Christmas Moments is more than just a concert with traditional Christmas carols, Christmas classics, pop and gospel. This show brings music and poetry together in an extraordinary way and has a lasting effect on the audience. Unique and fascinating. Festive and authentic. Or as the press summed it up: “The audience experienced moments of light”.
With magnificent soloists, amazing choral arrangements, rousing music, impressive light and video effects, touching and entertaining stories and thoughts about the festivities, the likeable ensemble plays its way into the hearts of its fans year after year.
Christmas Moments has now thrilled well over half a million viewers throughout Germany. Christmas Moments has been one of the most popular Christmas shows in Germany, and not just since its appearance on ARD's “Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights” hosted by Florian Silbereisen. Many well-known faces have been guests on the Christmas Moments stage in recent years, including Cassandra Steen, Ella Endlich, Liel, Anja Lehmann and Patricia Kelly (The Kelly Family).
This year's soloists include veteran David Moore, who has been a fixture at Christmas Moments for 21 years and was also part of the first cast of Bochum's “Starlight Express” for a long time, as well as Mannheim-based soul singer and vocal acrobat Dominik Steegmüller, Emily Valerius, known from the casting show “The Voice”, and the powerful-voiced musical actress Beatrice Reece. The powerful-sounding band consists of: Thomas Schwab/piano, Andreas Steffens/saxophone, Sören Jordan/guitar, Jürgen Kochler/bass and Marcel Millot/drums. The ensemble is rounded off by the Christmas angel - unmistakably portrayed by actor Stefan Konrad.
