On May 1, 2025, the Eifelverein OG Prüm is offering a surprise day hike.

The climb to the highest point is steady but easy to manage. The descent is also moderate, only slightly steeper shortly before the finish. The paths are wide and well-paved, with the last third following paved farm roads. There's much to discover along the way, with information signs pointing out historical attractions and special features of the flora and fauna.

We'll be walking between two well-known towns, hiking along familiar and unfamiliar paths. A stream will also accompany us for a while. Curious? Here are a few more tips: The circular trail is 15 km long and has an elevation gain of approximately 200 meters.

Departure is on May 1, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. from Rathausplatz, Tiergartenstraße, Prüm. Ride sharing costs €6.00. Refreshments are available.
