How does one react when suddenly a kangaroo moves in uninvited? Small-time artist Marc-Uwe resignedly gives in and tries to engage with his unusual roommate. From now on, nothing is as it once was.

The cheeky marsupial loves liquor-filled chocolates, the right to laziness, and Nirvana. And so the two roommates sometimes fly from Berlin-Schönefeld to Berlin-Tegel, correct graffiti at night, or spend their evenings in their local pub. The Kangaroo Chronicles by author and cabaret artist Marc-Uwe Kling are a colorful mix of capitalism critique, mischief, and friendship – and they have long become a cult! In Mayen, they will be presented as a staged reading with ensemble actor Thorsten Hamer on stage.
