Experiencing nature together - The hiking and mountain biking event on May 1st in Bad Bertrich
 
More and more guests are actively enjoying our beautiful Vulkaneifel – whether on foot or by bike. The Vulkaneifel is fortunate to be a popular holiday destination for hikers and also one of the top biking regions in Germany. Now, GesundLand Vulkaneifel and the VulkanBike Trailpark are presenting this event for the second time. 
 
Bad Bertrich: Nestled in wonderfully green forests
“With our event ‘Experiencing nature together’, we invite hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts to Bad Bertrich on May 1st,” says Vera Esch, the managing director of GesundLand Vulkaneifel. Hikers will embark on the “HeimatSpur Wasserfall-Erlebnisroute” (approx. 13 kilometers), while mountain bikers will ride on the “Trail Eldorado” (approx. 30 kilometers). 
 
Experiencing nature together and strengthening each other
Shortly before the end of each tour, hikers and mountain bikers will meet at the legendary Maischquelle near Kennfus. There, the fire brigade, the sports club, and the Don Bosco & Heimatverein Kennfus will prepare a barbecue with grilled specialties and cold drinks. Registration for the premiere of the event is free. Vera Esch concludes: “The signal of the event is important to us. So far, there have been hardly any problems between hikers and mountain bikers – and we want it to stay that way.”
