Traditionally, on the last weekend of August, knights, squires, and a colorful mix of people gather at the Manderscheider Niederburg. Come by as the ballad singers, jugglers, and craftsmen showcase their skills at the Historical Castle Festival on the Niederburg. It's such a colorful spectacle that brings the beautiful sides of the Middle Ages and castle life back to life. Of course, food and drink are well taken care of.

At the tournament grounds, interested visitors and castle enthusiasts will gather to get a good view of the fighters. When you turn around, the towering silhouette of the Niederburg presents an impressive picture of sublime invincibility. The many people appearing like movable battlements look down on the colorful proceedings.
