In 2025, the singer and songwriter is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his classic with a special live year. ‘The song was a turning point for me - it opened doors for me and connects me with my audience in a very special way to this day,’ says Jonathan Zelter. His first single at the time still has over 20 million YouTube views, has been covered by numerous artists, most recently by Mary Roos, and is one of the most popular German-language love songs, alongside classics such as Herbert Grönemeyer's ‘Halt mich’ and Silbermond's ‘Das Beste’. But ‘Ein Teil von meinem Herzen’ is just the beginning: his songs now reach over 25 million Spotify streams. Most recently, ‘Momente wie diese’ - a song from his first album from 2016 - placed in the top 50 of the TikTok Germany charts - proof of the timeless relevance of his music.
