On August 5, it's market time again in Mayen! Over 200 traders will be offering their goods for sale in the pedestrian zones. In addition to the textile and haberdashery traders, a large number of fabric and curtain traders will once again be represented at the market. In addition, there will once again be “specialists” offering everything from superglue to screwdrivers and knife sharpeners, as well as space-saving clothes hangers and other household aids.
Vegetable slicers and juicers will of course also be there.
As the market traders will be setting up their stalls early in the morning, it will not be possible to deliver goods to the retail outlets on this day. Store owners are asked to postpone their deliveries to Monday or Wednesday.
