Lesung Eifelfrauen: Der Ruf der Nachtigall
Sep 25, 2024
Wittlich
Altenburg, 1945: meadows full of orchids in spring, hay harvests in the summer sun, quiet landscapes in the autumn mist. Klara and Mia Fuchs grow up as sisters on an idyllic farm in the Eifel. The two are as different as night and day: while Mia attracts everyone's attention and wins people over with her easy-going manner, Klara is thoughtful and introverted. Only when she sings does all shyness fall away from her. Her bell-like voice enchants everyone who listens to her. When the Czech singer Pavel seeks refuge on the farm, the sisters' lives take an unexpected turn ...
