Rangertour Vogelsang-Wollseifen Route im Nationalpark Eifel
Mar 16, 2025 - Jan 4, 2026
Schleiden
Gain a comprehensive impression of the Dreiborn plateau. This 33 square kilometer area was used as the Vogelsang military training area until the end of 2005.
Rangers accompany you from the Eifel National Park Center through natural forests across the Neffgesbach stream to the deserted village of Wollseifen. The inhabitants of this former village had to make way for military use in 1946. The route leads back through wide meadows. The approximately 6.5-kilometre route with a steep ascent is also suitable for all-terrain baby carriages.
Seating is available halfway along the route.
Hearing impaired guests can borrow a mobile hearing amplifier if they register in advance. Otherwise, it is not necessary to register for the free tours. We ask that larger groups of 10 or more people register in advance by calling 02444/9510-0.
The ranger tour takes place every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of the month.
