The artist, cartoonist and animator Tony Munzlinger was born in Wittlich in 1934, but moved to Italy permanently in the 1960s. He initially lived near the Tuscan coast on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Since the 1990s, he has lived further north in the Parmenian Apennines.
To mark his 90th birthday, Tony Munzlinger himself has curated the ‘Sammelsurium’ exhibition in collaboration with designer Chris Marmann, the Managing Director of the Wittlich Foundation, Mrs Christiane Schmitz-Hayer, and the Head of the Cultural Office, Mrs Nina Dusartz de Vigneulle.
A wide variety of works from Tony Munzlinger's oeuvre that have never been presented before and many new impressions await visitors to the new ‘Sammelsurium’ exhibition.
The exhibition runs until the end of December 2024.

Monday to Friday 09.00 a.m. - 05.00 p.m.
Saturday from 09.00 a.m. - 14.00 p.m.
Sundays and public holidays from 2.00 p.m. - 5.00 pm
Admission: €3.00/person, children and young people up to the age of 18 free of charge
