When the first leaves change color, the nights get colder, and the air is filled with the scent of forest and moss, the rutting season begins for the red deer.
After an exciting journey through the experience exhibition "Wildness Dreams," it’s time to head outside: Together with rangers, guests will uncover the secrets of the largest mammal in the Eifel National Park.
The hike offers breathtaking views over the open land of the Dreiborner Hochfläche - with a bit of luck, red deer can be observed during the rut.
In addition to sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing, binoculars are a good addition.
The combination of guided tour and hike lasts a total of three hours.
