On the road with Schutzmann Wölk

Schutzmann Wölk is a "Düren original" whose figure is also immortalized in the town. From 1881, he was one of Düren's three guards and experienced a lot. He was very straightforward in his interpretation of the regulations. Accompany the handsome man with his blue uniform and spiked cap on his ramble through the city center. He tells humorous anecdotes about life in the city and the Rhineland mentality. Schutzmann Wölk brings Düren's past back to life in an entertaining way from a Protestant-Prussian perspective.

The tour starts at iPUNKT and lasts approx. 1.5 hours. You are welcome to buy your ticket in advance at iPUNKT or at eventim.de.
