The flanking tower of the east wing characterizes Vogelsang's image as an "Ordensburg". Planned as a water tower but quickly becoming superfluous, it was nevertheless an indispensable symbol of power and sovereignty. In a total of 45 minutes and after climbing 177 steps, our tower guides will give you an overview of the monument area and its current uses as well as the national park and the neighboring Eifel villages.
The Vogelsang IP tower ascent with a panoramic view takes place daily from April to October at 1 pm and at weekends and on public holidays from 12 pm to 4 pm, always on the hour. Tickets are available from our visitor information desk.
Time: Mon-Fri 1pm & Sat/Sun public holidays between 12pm and 4pm on the hour
